Rapid switchgear inspection

A Barber Insys product story

The new low cost ThermOcular from Barber InSys enables rapid thermal inspection of live low voltage switchgear and fusegear, useful for critical 'always on' circuitry

ThermOcular requires only a 32mm cut out hole in the panel and is secured by a locking ring provided as part of the assembly.

Once in place, the thermographer simply unscrews the cover plate and points the thermal camera at the live switch/fusegear through the aperture.

A special mesh design prevents physical contact with the target being measured.

ThermOcular should be of particular interest for critical 'always on' circuitry that cannot be switched off and panels opened for thermal inspection.
