Barber InSys has been chosen to distribute on behalf of InfraTec (Dresden) a new range of high performance thermal imaging cameras from Jenoptik.

The range offers three distinct types of camera, each with a number of optional variations to suit the required measurement application.

The VarioCam system is a hand portable camera for condition monitoring and PM applications, to research and development projects, offering a full size 320 x 240 detector, with optional electromechanical resolution enhancement to give 640x 480 image performance and is unique in this industry.

Temperature measurements from -40 to +1200C, and optionally up to 2000C gives a wide dynamic range and high functionality.

The VarioCam is available also as a "head" version for process monitoring applications etc.

VarioScan is a high resolution scanning type thermal imaging camera system, particularly suited for low temperature non moving applications where image resolution down to 30mK are required, such as building thermography, with temperature measurements down to -40C using a stirling cooled detector.

VarioTherm is a narrow band 3.4-5um camera for specialised applications such as glass and plastics, with special filters available for the required measurement.

All camera systems come with Irbis software for off line image analysis and report generation.

Further software packages are available for online and remote camera control functionality.

InfraTec has a large dedicated thermography applications department with many years of experience in selecting the right thermal camera for solving customer measurement application.
