Bizerba (UK) has launched a new, innovative, yet economical stainless steel weighing terminal, designed for maximum versatility in a wide range of applications, covering the entire logistics spectrum from incoming goods through to dispatch.
The new Bizerba ST terminals are a low-cost solution for the food industry, mechanical engineering applications and the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
The ST terminal has the capacity to be customer specific and therefore easily adjusted for specific weighing, counting, control and tolerance monitoring requirements.
The terminals permit connection of up to three load receptors, a precision scale, a PLC control unit or printer by means of serial and parallel interfaces.
As the nerve centre of any weighing system it can interface bi-directionally with a PC thus functioning as an intelligent system terminal.
With an IP68 rating the weighing terminal offers excellent resistance to corrosion, dust and water.
An easy-clean, hard-wearing stainless steel housing enables Bizerba ST terminals to be used in hygiene sensitive areas and clean-room environments.
The Bizerba ST weighing terminal features a back-lit LED display adjustable for good visibility.
