Bizerba has recruited four new engineers - Andrew Smith, Lee Booth, Robert Clarke and Tom Brabenec - to better serve its expanding customer base.

Three of the new employees, will work as retail systems installation and support engineers on the recently won multi-million-pound contract to supply scales and labellers to Wm Morrison Supermarkets, the UK's fast growing supermarket chain.

Andrew Smith was appointed by Bizerba to work on the Wm Morrison project having gained over 10 years technical experience with retail point-of-sale equipment, while Lee Booth was chosen because of his previous experience working in the scales industry as a service engineer.

Having previously worked for Salter Weightronix and Avery-Berkel, Robert Clarke has been recruited to provide additional resource for Bizerba's expanding industrial weighing activities.

In his new role as an industrial weighing equipment engineer Robert will be working on a wide range of equipment including static and inline scales.

Bizerba has employed Tom Brabenec as an office-based technician whose role it is to prepare and inspect equipment prior to delivery.

Having previously gained experience as an in-house repair engineer for 3Com, Brabenec's job will also involve repairing returned machines.
