Indicator refresh rate boosted
The BA326C provides operators with a quick, easy to read indication of magnitude and trend, plus an accurate numerical value in engineering units.
Optional alarms and linearisation are also available.
The combination of a 100 segment analogue bargraph and a 4.5 digit display provides the operator with a quick, easy to read indication of magnitude and trend, plus an accurate numerical value in engineering units.
The BA326C is intrinsically safe and has ATEX Group II Category 1G (EEx ia IIC T5) certification.
The 4/20mA input terminals comply with the requirements for simple apparatus which allow the indicator to be connected in series with almost any 4/20mA intrinsically safe loop.
The BA526C is designed for use in non hazardous areas.
The BA326C and BA526C are housed in 144 x 48mm DIN enclosures which are only 84mm deep allowing installation in shallow cabinets.
The instruments have IP65 front panel protection, and a gasket seals the joint between the instrument enclosure and the panel.
Control and calibration is performed via four front panel push-buttons which can be protected from tampering or accidental adjustment by a user definable four digit security code.
Accessories include a display backlight which improves display contrast when the instrument is installed in a poorly illuminated area, and optional alarms which provide two independent programmable galvanically isolated solid state outputs.
For easy comparison with the 4/20mA input, both alarm setpoints are displayed on a second bargraph with annunciators showing the alarm status.
An optional 16 point fully adjustable lineariser allows most non-linear inputs to be displayed in linear engineering units, for example the volumetric contents of a cylindrical tank can be displayed from a level signal.
As with all Beka display products, the BA326C and BA526C are guaranteed for three years and they are now available from stock.
Instruments are supplied calibrated to customer's requirements free of charge, and custom analogue scale cards can be provided. Request a free brochure from Beka associates ...
