With the introduction of BEKA Associates' new intrinsically safe, battery powered clock, time can at last be safely displayed in potentially explosive atmospheres.

The new BA369 panel-mounting clock is ATEX certified Group II Category 1G (EEx ia IIC) and has a 25mm high, easy to read, digital display.

Powered for three years from a replaceable internal battery, the clock requires no external connections and has a stand-alone accuracy of greater than one minute per year.

For applications requiring validation, or greater accuracy, up to ten BA369 clocks may by synchronised with a safe area master via a single zener barrier or galvanic isolator.

The front of the BA369 clock has IP65 protection allowing installation in areas which are routinely washed down.

This new instrument compliments BEKA associates well established externally powered, intrinsically safe and Type n approved timers, counters and clocks.
