Indicator refresh rate boosted
The BA326C provides operators with a quick, easy to read indication of magnitude and trend, plus an accurate numerical value in engineering units.
Since its launch in 2000 the BA326C 4/20mA loop powered combined analogue and digital indicator has become a favourite with many Beka customers The instrument has recently been updated to increase the analogue display refresh rate to four readings per second, further extending the many applications for this versatile, easy to use indicator

Communications isolator makes displays safer
The new BA201 communications isolator has RS232 and RS485 safe area ports enabling multidrop display systems to be constructed.
Display products are brought up to date

The combination of a 100-segment fast analogue bargraph and a 4 1/2 digit display provides operators with a quick, easy to read indication of magnitude and trend, plus an accurate numerical value in engineering units.
The BA326C has ATEX group II Category 1G (EEx ia IIC T5) intrinsic safety certification.
The 4/20mA input terminals comply with the requirements for simple apparatus and only introduce a 1V drop in the loop, allowing the indicator to be connected in series with almost any 4/20mA intrinsically safe circuit.
For use in the USA the BA326C also has FM intrinsic safety and nonincendive approval.
Housed in a 144 x 48mm DIN enclosure only 84mm deep, the instrument has an IP65 front panel and a gasket seals the joint between the instrument and the panel.
Control and calibration are performed via four front panel push buttons that can be protected from tampering or accidental adjustment by a user-selectable four-digit security code.
Accessories include dual alarms with galvanically isolated solid state outputs having independent setpoints which, for easy comparison with the 4/20mA input, are displayed on a second parallel bargraph together with annunciators showing the alarm status.
An optional sixteen point fully adjustable lineariser allows most nonlinear inputs to be displayed in linear engineering units, for example the volumetric contents of a cylindrical tank can be displayed directly from a level signal.
The BA326C can be supplied with a separately powered display backlight that enhances daylight viewing enabling the instrument to be read in all lighting conditions.
For application in safe areas the BA526C has the same features as the BA326C including the new increased refresh rate but is not intrinsically safe.
Both models are guaranteed for three years, and are supplied calibrated to customers' requirements free of charge.
They can be supplied with a customer specified analogue scale showing graduations and the units of measurement. Request a free brochure from Beka associates ...
