Electronic loads offer high current capability
The Dynaload RBL Series of single-channel electronic loads offer an exceptionally high current rating of 1000A, and are ideal for the testing of large batteries and other DC power equipment.
Compact bench power supply provides 175W
The EX355, new from TTi (Thurlby Thandar Instruments), is a single-output laboratory DC power supply providing an output from 0 to 35V at 0 to 5A.
The professional specification allows use in component burn-in, magnet control and other high power applications for a broad range of test and measurement users.
Digital processing gives highly accurate control, and active power factor correction lowers input current requirements.
One local method and four remote methods are available for controlling the power supply and read-back.
In the local mode, a front-panel keyboard allows pushbutton data entry together with separate multi-turn knobs for voltage and current adjustment.
The RS-232 mode allows the user to operate the supply remotely through a serial port connection.
A faster GPIB/IEEE-488.2 port may be fitted to the power supply as an option.
The multichannel mode allows a user to operate the power supply remotely through an optional multi-channel link between two or more power supplies.
In analogue mode, the unit can be operated remotely through the analogue programming and read-back port.
Front-panel or remote control can achieve 0.1% voltage accuracy and 0.15% current accuracy, with typical programming resolutions of 0.002% for voltage and 0.002% for current.
A bright vacuum fluorescent display on the front panel shows complete supply status at a glance.
The display shows outputs, set points and read-backs with display annunciators for more information.
Voltage, current and power bargraphs show voltage, current limit and power output in graphical format.
Up to ten different 99-step auto sequences are available for automated test applications.
Other features include automatic crossover into constant voltage or constant current mode to respond to varying load requirements.
Additional control of outputs can be achieved using a user-set power limit.
The units measure 133 ? 483 ? 579 mm including terminals and handles.
