Bolt Science has launched a new website dedicated to training in fastener technology.
Bolt Science has launched a new website dedicated to training in fastener technology.
The site is at www.bolting.info and provides online training and distance learning to meet the bolting and fastener technology training needs of industry and educational establishments.
One of the advantages of online training is that it allows users to study when and where they want - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.
The pricing of the courses is also significantly lower than a conventional training course.
All the courses are self-paced allowing someone to start and stop as often as needed.
Each course comes with a user handbook detailing reference information that an engineer will find useful when completing the course and as a resource for the day to day problems that arise in work.
All courses and presentations are completely online.
The presentations have been prepared in Macromedia Flash allowing them to be viewed in Internet Explorer or other browser.
The user handbook can be downloaded and used offline if required.
There is no software (apart from the Flash addon) to install or run.
A sample training presentation is included on the site as well as a quiz on bolting technology.
