Blue Diamond has extended its services to cover the supply of a wide range of automotive components.
Blue Diamond, the Southampton based engineering company, has extended its services to cover the supply of a wide range of automotive components.
Working with carefully vetted suppliers in Europe and the Far East, sourcing from Blue Diamond provides all the benefits of global procurement with the reliability and convenience of a single UK source.
Products available for automotive applications include power steering seals, power train seals and components, high performance seals and O-rings.
Blue Diamond can also source a wide range of mechanical components such as circlips, spacers, wheel and hub nuts, PTFE rings, moulded rubber parts and engine compartment wear components.
Parts can be supplied packed singly or in multiples and Blue Diamond can also make up kits of components as required.
These can be packaged into standard or bespoke boxes to suit individual requirements.
But Blue Diamond is more than just a supplier of low cost components.
Rather than simply placing orders on its quality assessed suppliers, Blue Diamond takes control of each order and if required, can analyse and prepare engineering drawings, specify materials and set quality standards.
With many manufacturing industries being under pressure to improve margins the engineers at Blue Diamond can help by exploring ways to reduce individual component costs without affecting the functionality or quality of the finished product.
This may include changing the specification of the materials used and reducing the number of the components involved.

Stockholding facilities are available and Kanban and JIT deliveries can also be organised.
