CV Instruments has launched a new digital wall thickness gauge, capable of wall thickness measurement of up to 10mm

CV Instruments, the prolific material-testing arm of the Bowers Metrology Group, has launched a new digital wall thickness gauge, capable of wall thickness measurement of up to 10mm.

The cost effective, easy to use CV-CG500 boasts many quality features including graphical display, min/max facility and improved measuring properties through SIDSP probe technology and rapid sampling speed of 20 measurements per second.

Suitable for use on all non-ferrous materials such as metals, plastics, wood, glass, ceramics, glass fibre and carbon fibre laminates.

The CV-CG500 is particularly useful for use on hollow parts or intricate shapes such as bottles, cans, injection moulding products etc The innovative new gauge has an impressive data memory of 100,000 readings, and can perform and display valuable statistical analysis.

If required, data can be downloaded via the gauges' RS-232 output.
