The prolific CV arm of the Bowers Metrology Group has announced the launch of its advanced new, CV-6000 Modular Rockwell Hardness System.

Following requests from high volume industrial users and integrated system manufacturers, the prolific CV arm of the Bowers Metrology Group has announced the launch of its advanced new, CV-6000 Modular Rockwell Hardness System.

Reading in Rockwell HRC, Brinell and Vickers, the flexible new testing module has been specifically designed for inline testing of components within a high volume, production environment.

CV Instruments is able to incorporate the unique new modular testing system into its own bespoke, in-house designed and manufactured inline systems or supply the flexible modular system to other manufacturers.

CV guarantees high accuracy reliability and rapid testing as the robust CV-6000's test load is checked and adapted throughout its entire load cycle.

The unit's test cycle starts automatically when a component is positioned, on completion of the test cycle the system indicates that the sample can be withdrawn.

Test results are valued according to the indicated parameters, whilst each measured hardness value can be transferred through RS232 or TCP/LAN.
