Prompted by requests for extremely large capacity, yet accurate horizontal measuring machines, Bowers Metrology, the sole UK agent for the renowned Swiss manufacturer Trimos, has announced the availability of the advanced Trimos HG range Based on a highly stable, single piece granite construction, the new range of large measuring machines is available in 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8m capacities, with even larger sizes available on request
Featuring internal and external measuring modes, a preset facility, a unique constant measuring force feature, rapid speed of movement and measurement and an impressive accuracy specification, the Trimos HG machines are available with either Heidenhain or Quadra-check readouts.
A comprehensive range of accessories is available to complement the range, enabling a multitude of measuring instruments to be set/calibrated or large components to be measured.
