Micro Vickers hardness bench tester is designed for rapid evaluation of steels, nonferrous metals, IC wafers, thin plastics and metal foils.

The busy CV arm of the Bowers Metrology Group has announced the long awaited launch of its feature packed CV-400AAT Micro Vickers hardness bench tester.

Designed for the rapid accurate testing of (among other materials) steels, nonferrous metals, IC wafers, thin plastics and metal foils, the advanced, rotating turret digital machine boasts automatic load control and turret action.

CV claims that the sturdy new tester's simple control system, high-resolution digital display and built-in hardness calculator ensures rapid and repeatable operation.

Results can be quickly measured using the unit's high quality built-in microscope with total magnification of x150 (observational) and x600 (measurement).

Aiding traceability, if required, the tester's integrated high-speed thermal printer is able to generate hard copy of measured results.

The flexible CV-400AAT can easily be operator configured to accommodate most Micro Vickers testing situations.

Amongst its many variable parameters the new unit boasts eight Micro Vickers scales and eight test load settings, with adjustable incremental load duration times, ranging from 5 to 60 seconds.
