Gear company invests in bore gauges
The Newbury-based Acedes Gear company has invested in a series of Bowers XT Xtreme digital bore gauges.
The Newbury-based Acedes Gear company has invested in a series of Bowers XT Xtreme digital bore gauges Acedes instruments will allow the company to accurately measure all of its Hob location bores both in-process and as part of the company's stringent final inspection routines
The gauges boast Opto RS 232 outputs allowing them to be linked to Acedes' printers that generate the important traceable records that are required by several of the company's customers.
Bowers XT Xtreme Gauges have extended anvil travel, clear digital displays and a simple two-button operation.
They are water/coolant-resistant and able to accurately measure Acedes' Hob location bores.
Acedes makes regular investments in high-tech machine tools and measuring instruments.
