Developed specifically for demanding controller and visualisation tasks, the APC680 highlights the upper end of B and R's industrial PC spectrum.

Thanks to its modular construction, the APC680 can be adapted to the requirements of the application.

The main feature of the PC is the slot CPU based on the Intel 815E chipset for processors from Celeron 566 up to Pentium III 1.26GHz.

The slot CPU is a single slot module which can be operated in one of the two PICMG slots of a passive backplane.

Flat screen displays can be connected using a standardised DVI interface or an interface for operating display units at a distance greater than 5m.

If required, AC97 sound and an LPT1 port are also available.

Floppy disk, hard disk, CD and DVD drives are offered as well as CompactFlash.

Every APC680 is individually assembled according to the needs of the customer.

Fastened plug connectors and durable mechanics ensure problem-free use in rough industrial environments.

The processor and chipset from Intel's Embedded Division guarantee long product life.

The following hardware components are featured on the APC680: Intel Celeron or Intel Pentium III Tualatin up to 1.26GHz; two 100Mbit/s Ethernet; four USB slots; DVI-I for flat displays; four PCI, one ISA and two PICMG slots as well as four serial interfaces.
