B and R Industrial Automation distribution partners PacMation and Integrated Motion have further expanded their exclusive sales territories, thus increasing B and R's overall presence in the USA.

B and R Industrial Automation distribution partners PacMation and Integrated Motion have further expanded their exclusive sales territories, thus increasing B and R's overall presence in the USA Currently B and R provides local sales and engineering support through direct sales offices and distribution partners in Washington, Idaho, North Carolina, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, New York, Maryland, Virginia, Florida and Georgia

These regional locations as well as the company headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia provide sales, technical support, training and application engineering for customers throughout the USA, underlining B and R's dedication to expansion and customer focus.

In 2005 the B and R US team is planning to expand the Automation Partner Programme even further with the goal to provide a more efficient and personal service to customers locally.

"We are very excited to have PacMation as our new partner for three important territories on the West Coast as well as having Integrated Motion expand their territory".

"Working with both companies allows B and R to provide first-class engineering and sales support locally for our customers".

"We will continue to aggressively expand our Automation Partner Network in the United States by aligning ourselves strategically with the right companies".

"Local excellence combined with B and R's leading-edge technology means for our customers that they can rely on proven solutions and get the best of both worlds", says Marc Ostertag, Vice President, B and R USA.

After just two months as an independent B and R distribution partner PacMation has decided to expand its territory to be able to present B and R's integrated solution also in Northern California.

PacMation which became a B and R distributor in November 2004 covering the exclusive territories of Washington State and Idaho has made the decision after a very successful start as B and R distribution partner.

Besides increasing its sales activities even further Andy Reid, President of PacMation would like to see his company become the supplier of choice to high-tech machine builders on the Pacific Coast.

In his point of view the next couple of years present a very exciting opportunity for PacMation and B and R, due to the confluence of several factors: the heightened need for manufacturers to create value through efficient use of technology, in the face of low-cost competition; growing frustration with proprietary systems, excessive hardware costs and recurring software maintenance fees; the arrival of deterministic Ethernet for industrial control; and reduced pressure on OEMs to produce brand specific control systems.

PacMation is certainly looking forward to the challenges ahead and believes that with the B and R hardware and software solutions, it can help its clients develop control topologies that differentiate their equipment through efficient use of technology.

Integrated Motion, winner of the 2004 highest customer growth and best overall sales performance sales awards is expanding its current North Carolina territory to include Virginia and Maryland.

The success of the partner programme is best represented by Integrated Motion which became a B and R distribution partner in November 2003.

Since then Integrated Motion has been able to develop many successful applications for customers in the NC sales region.

"Prior to entering the partner programme, we had very little to offer a customer that is looking for complete machine automation, we were forced to surrender these applications to companies such as Allen Bradley and Siemens".

"This is no longer the case; B and R has the products to offer complete systems to a customer with price and performance benefits", says Charles Williams, President of Integrated Motion.

The company is looking forward to offer the B and R solution now also in Virginia and Maryland and is certainly challenged to meet the high goals it has set for itself trying to win the best performance sales awards again in 2005.
