With the 2004 Editor's Choice Award the real-time Ethernet Powerlink technology has already won the third award worldwide.
Nominated as "Product of the Year" in 2003 in the magazine Elektronik in Austria, Gold Medal at the Automaticon show in 2003 in Poland and proud winner of the US Editor's choice award in 2004, Ethernet Powerlink is among the most highly recognised deterministic communication protocols currently available on the market.
Also in 2004 Control Engineering Editors evaluated hundreds of nominees based on the criteria market impact, technological advancement, and service to the industry to select the 40 winners of the 18th annual Editor's Choice Award.
Once again it is Control Engineering's pleasure to announce what are considered to be the best products launched on the market based on the above selection criteria.
"A flurry of innovation", calls Mark T Hoske, Editor-in-Chief of Control Engineering, one of the main North American automation magazines, the large number products and solutions that were launched in 2004.
