Automation specialist Bernecker and Rainer Industrie-Elektronik increased revenue by 15% to Eur 175 million for the fiscal year ending on 30th June 2005.

Automation specialist Bernecker and Rainer Industrie-Elektronik increased revenue by 15% to Eur 175 million for the fiscal year ending on 30th June 2005.

At the same time, the number of employees has increased by approximately 13% to the current number of 1271 worldwide.

Continued innovation and technologically advanced systems have allowed the company to nearly double revenue in the last five years, and this positive trend is continuing.

An average increase in revenue of about 15% is also expected for the coming year.

To guarantee leading innovations, approximately 17% of the revenue has been reinvested exclusively for research and development.

The number of employees has also developed very positively with the majority being employed at the production plant in Austria.
