The recent MSV 2005 trade fair in Brno, Czech Republic, saw the APC620 from B and R compete in an international competition and take home the gold medal for the most innovative product.

Trade and Industry Minister Milan Urban awarded the prize to the B and R Czech Republic Manager, Jan Ohral.

B and R reckons the APC620 is the most innovative industrial PC on the market.

Its key features include fan-free operation, compact design and low price.

The APC's integrated Intel Pentium M processors provide the highest performance at all levels.

In the innovation contest, the main criteria involved technical prowess, innovation, originality, and contribution to the development of the automation industry.

In the spring of this year, the X20 System was also awarded top prize for innovation at the Amper fair in Prague.

With 2200 exhibitors and 105,000 visitors, the MSV fair is the largest and most important trade fair for industrial automation and machine manufacturing in the Czech Republic, if not all of Eastern Europe.
