The RPS2400 front-end Rectifier Power Shelf provides up to 2100 Watts of power in a low-profile, 1U high rack-mount chassis, converting universal AC mains input voltage to isolated, regulated 48VDC

Broadband TelCom Power (BTCPower), a manufacturer of high current density power solutions, introduces another ground breaking product to their impressive portfolio The RPS2400 front-end Rectifier Power Shelf provides up to 2100 Watts of power in a low-profile, 1U high rack-mount chassis, converting universal AC mains input voltage to isolated, regulated 48VDC for use in distributed power systems

The RPS2400 shelf is an industry standard 1U high rack mount chassis that accepts up to three RPM800 power modules, giving a maximum power capacity of 2100 Watts of 48VDC regulated power.

Each RPM800 has its own AC input power cord while the common output power is brought into a single 48V output bus by the RPS2400 for easy system wiring.

A signal connector provides over temperature warning and power system status.

Multiple RPS2400 shelves can be interconnected to achieve even higher power capability.

For example, two RPS2400 shelves, with a total of six RPM800 modules can be used to form an N+1 array capable of providing 3.5KW with a 700 Watt redundant module, ready in the even of any single module failure.

Each module has hot-swap and active load sharing capability.

The RPS2400 conforms to EN61000 (Power Factor), EN55022 class A (conducted) and is UL, CSA, TUV and CE certified.
