New efficiency levels for DC/DC converters
The HQ series of synchronously rectified, high efficiency DC/DC converters provide 50 Amps of output current at low voltages - current density levels and conversion efficiency previously unavailable
Suitable for 19 inch racks and with a height of only 1U (1.75") they can also be configured for solutions in excess of 2KW by combining multiple RPM Modules.
The RPM has full current sharing capabilities (N+1) and are specifically designed to support hot-swapping to minimise system down time.
This power system is available with 48V output with 800Watts capability and 88% efficiency.
The input is wide ranging at 85VAC to 265VAC and can cater for input frequencies from 47Hz to 63 Hz.
The PFC performance is compliant with EN61000-3-2 with excellent ripple and noise performance (less than 1% peak-peak 20MHz BWL).
Line and load regulation are 0.5% and the operating temperature is rated from -5C to +50C.
It even includes its own cooling fans.
The RPM series complies with safety regulations EN60950 and IEC950 and the EMI requirements of CISPR22/EN55022-A.
It make use of BTC' s fully patented Flat Matrix Transformer technology, with all the usual benefits in thermal performance, reliability and low noise.
The RPM module is available through their UK Representatives, MEL.
