For when large volumes of gas need to be pumped, one of the largest vapour diffusion pumps on the market has been launched, a 35 inch diameter pump with a pumping speed of 48,000l/s
BOC Edwards has added to its range of high throughput industrial diffusion pumps with the launch of its biggest model yet.
The EO35 is a 35 inch diameter pump with a pumping speed of 48,000l/s, designed for use in industrial applications where large volumes of gas need to be pumped.
BOC Edwards' vapour diffusion technology provides reliable vacuum pumping at high speeds and throughputs, to high ultimate vacuum.
As one of the largest vapour diffusion pumps on the market, the new EO35 retains this technology for use on very large chambers allowing highly efficient processing.
It is ideal for applications that require high throughputs including metallurgy furnaces, degassing, distillation, drying and coating.
The EO35 is designed for optimum performance at pressures in the range of 10(-3)mbar to 10(-5) mbar.
Its high tolerance to gas surges and high critical backing pressure are additional benefits of this pump.
Used with the new optional external oil reservoir (patent pending) for automatic topping up of pump oil levels, the EO35 has a longer service interval than any other pump of its size.
