It is ideal for a wide range of dry bulk products, including fragile material which could be damaged by high pressure or temperature such as flour, chemicals and animal foodstuff.
Truckstar owes its superior performance to BOC Edwards Hibon's new trilobe technology, which provides lower pulsation for faster movement of product.
Developed in response to customer demand, the new technology operates at much lower noise levels, compared to traditional bilobe designs.
It provides truck builders a solution to the problem of blower noise levels which are increasingly being seen as a nuisance, especially in built-up areas.
A common problem with traditional blowers is damage caused by overheating, as a result of a blockage.
Truckstar comes with a built-in high temperature cut out feature, to prevent the possibility of serious damage resulting from product blockage.
Truckstar can be used with any drive system including belts and pulleys, acoustic-enclosed diesel engine, hydraulic motor (popular in Europe) and power transmission transfer case (popular in USA).
Designed for ease of installation, the unit is compact just 310 x 595mm.
It can be installed in any orientation, in any plane and can be fitted to virtually any dry bulk transfer vehicle as part of a new build, or as a replacement for an existing system.
Truckstar is both airtight and water tight, so it can be cleaned very easily along with the rest of the vehicle, using a jet wash.
