Pacesetter AC inverter duty motors, gearmotors and AC variable speed controls combine all new motor and gearhead combinations for maximum output power in the smallest package.

Bodine Electric Company announces the development of the new Pacesetter family of AC inverter duty motors, gearmotors and AC variable speed controls.

These products consist of all new motor and gearhead combinations for maximum output power in the smallest package.

Applications for the new inverter duty gearmotors include factory automation, machine tools, conveyors, and material handling and packaging.

An innovative Quintsulation five-stage insulation system is designed to meet NEMA MG 1-1993, Section IV, Part 31.

The inverter-grade magnet wire and Class F insulation system offers superior protection against spikes and corona damage caused by the inverter.

Pacesetter gearmotors are UL recognised for construction, CSA certified, and in compliance with the Low Voltage Directive CE.

The Pacesetter motors and gearmotors are rated from 0.04 to 0.75hp, 230V AC, 60Hz, three-phase for operation with a wide range of inverter products.

Needle bearings on the output shaft of gearmotors provide increased radial load capacity and long life.

The gearmotors are permanently lubricated and require no maintenance.

Standard features on most models include fan cooled for high output power, aluminium centre ring and endshields for high thermal efficiency and light weight, totally enclosed IP20 rating, hardened helical output gearing for quietness and high output torque.

Hollow shaft versions of right-angle gearmotors are also available.

IP40 terminal box kits are available for all Pacesetter models.

Most frame sizes are available "motor only" with synchronous and nonsynchronous winding.
