Lawrence Feir approached Boding when he was building his robot.

In designing his heavyweight, tracked robot, BotZilla, Lawrence Feir of Greensboro, North Carolina knew he needed rugged, reliable power to successfully compete in a nationally televised competition.

Like thousands of design engineers in industry, he came to Bodine Electric for a solution.

After analysing Feir's requirements, Tim Oliver, Bodine's Manager of AC and DC Product Technology and Applications, recommended a pair of specially optimised 42A7-GB right angle gearmotors.
