A new interface enables electrical diagrams to be produced in Microsoft Visio directly from BSOFTB's Icepic application.
A new interface enables electrical diagrams to be produced in Microsoft Visio directly from BSOFTB's Icepic application Using this approach interconnecting cable diagrams can be produced automatically, thus potentially saving significant man-hours
Once data about cables and devices have been entered in to the Icepic database, this can be re-used to create any number of generic or customer specific diagrams.
The interface is two-way allowing data in the Icepic database to be entered and updated through Microsoft Visio.
The interface ensures consistency of the data no matter which of the two systems is used.
The development of this interface is part of BSOFTB's strategy to continue to offer developments to its customers to increase productivity in the electrical process.
