Cloudis has signed KLG Systel to distribute and support its CMPIC application in India.
Ian Barnes, Sales and Commercial Director at Cloudis, has just returned from a nine day visit to India where he has given seminars on CMPIC in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata.
Says Barnes: "The response to our software has been fantastic".
"There is a real demand here for software with breadth and depth in cable management, something which is lacking in the alternative solutions these companies have been looking at".
"I have demonstrated our software to over 250 people from the power, oil and gas, shipbuilding and utilities sectors during my trip".
"In addition I have also been to several companies to give individual presentations and we now have a significant number of really exciting prospects".
"These companies have also shown a strong interest in our API which enables them to interface CMPIC to third party applications including CAD".
KLG Systel has a broad user base in the engineering sector and is one of the largest distributors in India with widespread geographical coverage through 16 offices.
Cloudis staff plan to revisit India in early 2006 to progress interest in CMPIC and to deliver further training to KLG staff.
In the meantime KLG representatives will be visiting Cloudis' Runcorn offices for training.
