Boge has developed a fundamentally new type of compressor - a modular oil-free system that is easy to extend and quick to service for the lower capacity range.

The complex includes a 36-bay pit lane with 18 compressed air outlets served by a Boge SD29 750 RM.
This screw compressor, which is receiver mounted, is placed at one end of the pit lane with a further receiver of equal capacity at the opposite end in order to ensure stable pressure.
The system was designed and installed by Boge distributor Aircare, based less than a mile from the speedway.

Frequency-controlled compressors cut air costs
Boge has added two new, upgraded models to its successful SF series of frequency-controlled screw compressors.
Based on their experience, Aircare was able to advise on the best system for the estimated air usage.
Their design avoided the need for a costly ring main by using the two receivers at either end of the pit lane.
A reliable air supply is critical to the speedway as during a race teams obviously need to be able to make speedy pit stops.
A unique feature of the service provided by Aircare is attendance at the track on race days and the availability of a mobile compressor as backup.
Having distributed Boge compressors for the past six years, Aircare was completely confident in their recommendation of a 'S' range compressor based on its proven reliability.
A further key attraction of the Boge compressor was its small footprint.
This has enabled the speedway to position it within a building at the end of the pit lane where the rest of the space is used for storage.
Aircare was also able to offer a lease package including all servicing and maintenance for a single monthly cost that is fixed for three years.
"The team is very impressed with the system," commented Steve Slater on behalf of Rockingham Motor Speedway.
"In addition to using the right compressor itself, the Speedway particularly wanted to use a local company who could provide on-site support." Rockingham Motor Speedway is set to host some of the most exciting events in motorsport.
In June, it will welcome the Power Tour meeting and in September it will play host to the Superbike Championship.
Also in September is the FedEx Champcar World series - the fastest race series in the world and the first time that America's premier single-seat series will race on a UK speedway.
At the official opening on 26th May, members of the public will be able to enjoy the thrills of the oval track themselves with rides provided by NASCAR sensation, the Richard Petty Driving Experience.
The opening will also feature a display by the world-famous Red Arrows and the free-fall parachute team, the Red Devils. Request a free brochure from Boge Compressors ...
