Combination compressor aids PET bottle
production
New from Boge Compressors is a range of oil-free compressors delivering a wide range of clean dry compressed air outputs at 40bar for PET bottle production.
New from Boge Compressors is a range of oil-free compressors delivering a wide range of clean dry compressed air outputs at 40bar for PET bottle production Called the BS Line, the new compressors combine an oil-free rotary screw compressor with an oil-free reciprocating compressor, plus a chiller dryer, in one compact, low-maintenance unit

The BS Line has been developed by Boge Compressors in partnership with Siad Macchine Impianti to deliver the clinically clean, totally oil-free dry air quality necessary for blowing PET bottles, consistently, reliably and with minimum maintenance.
Models from the BS 14-200 have a dual pressure range, delivering 1150m3/h at 40bar plus 200m3/h at 10bar through 12 other models to the BS 34-300, delivering 2700m3/h at 40bar and 300m3/h at 10bar.
There are also seven models, from 1150m3/h at 40bar to 3000m3/h at 40bar with no dual (low) pressure provision.

Compressed air in the pits at motor sports stadium
When the UK's only all-seater motor sports stadium opens on 26th May 2001, the cars pulling into the pit lane will be served by compressed air courtesy of Boge Compressors.
The model designations of the BS Line define the high-pressure output capability and the volume of the low-pressure output, the first figure referring to the number of thousands of 1.5 litre PET bottles produced per hour, and the second the volume of delivered air in cubic metres per hour.
For example, a BS 19-150 is capable of blowing 19,000 PET bottles per hour while providing 150m3/h of compressed air at 10bar.
The Boge oil-free screw compressor has a two-stage airend with very low specific power requirements and top-quality roller bearings to maximise the airend life.
The rotors have a special molybdenum graphite coating to reduce friction and wear and maintain performance over an extremely long life.
A clearly defined three-section internal layout gives maximum access to all components, important to routine maintenance.
The compressor is equipped with easily maintained copper-bundle intercooler and aftercooler units to keep the compressor operating at the optimum temperatures.
The Siad oil-free reciprocating compressor that boosts the pressure of the screw compressor's output to 40bar is either a vertical single-cylinder or vertical vee-form twin unit, depending on its size and output.
This vertical format maximises the piston and cylinder life.
The 40bar chiller dryer provides accurate control of the dewpoint even in changeable ambient conditions.
The chiller logic copes impeccably with a wide range of climates and with operation at high altitudes.
Both Boge and Siad provide a 5-year warranty on the BS Line product. Request a free brochure from Boge Compressors ...
