Compressors deliver more

A new range of rotary screw compressors can increase free air delivery by up to 10% while in many cases reducing the specific power consumption, so users get more compressed air for their money.

A new range of rotary screw compressors can increase free air delivery by up to 10% while in many cases reducing the specific power consumption, so users get more compressed air for their money Known as the second generation S series, the new compressors use latest technology to optimise the drive configuration and deliver greater efficiency

The new range extends from the S 20-2 through to the S 60-2 (20 to 60hp).

The seven models in the new Boge S range provide free air delivery from 1.9 to 6.8m3/min.

Pressures range from 8 to 13bar, with motors from 15 to 45kW.

The new range is carried into the SD series, which feature an integrated refrigerant dryer and also encompasses two frequency-controlled machines.

The new second-generation Boge S range is quiet even by rotary screw compressor standards, but for applications where even lower sound pressure levels are required, three levels of additional silencing are available.

In the case of the S 20-2, S 24-2 and S 29-2 models, the silenced version (as per DIN 45635, Part 13) is tested between 76 and 86dB(A).

The super-silenced version achieves 68-75dB(A), the ultrasilenced version as little as 66dB(A).

Larger models in the range can be supplied with either standard silencing or super silencing, achieving 71-83 and 67-75dB(A), respectively.

The new model range will be launched in the UK in January 2004. Request a free brochure from Boge Compressors ...
