By sending signals to and from the compressors' controllers, the management system can predict, and switch, compressor combinations being used in order that the specific pressure required at each point in time is met in the most efficient way.
In doing so, the MCS Professional Plus ensures that, the compressor user gets the best possible use of compressed air delivered in the most energy-efficient way.
Effective and efficient use of compressed air is always going to be important to any maintenance manager for many reasons, not least keeping production constant, maintenance costs down and reducing the impact of the energy tax.
One way in which the MCS Professional Plus can assist compressor users in achieving these goals is by being able to identify process misuse or wastage.
By constantly monitoring the compressed air system the management programme can pinpoint if, where and why process misuse or wastage is occurring.
Necessary action can then be taken to once again optimise the system.
By constantly monitoring the compressor system, the MCS Professional Plus ensures that whatever changes occur to a compressor system, for example, process changes, the new requirements are automatically met by the controllers predictive capability thus ensuring that efficiency remains optimised.
It is through these methods that the MCS Professional Plus assures a leaner and meaner compressed air system by eliminating inefficiencies that are brought about by changes to the work process and hitherto undetected leakages.
The MCS Professional Plus comes with a user-friendly communication software package that allows the end-user and the service provider (if so required) to view the live system from a remote computer, as well as produce an on-going efficiency report kW/m3min.
The MCS Professional Plus works with - but independently of - the compressors' own control systems.
It can be introduced with any make or combination of makes of compressors. Request a free brochure from Boge Compressors ...
