E-learning course explains compressed
air
Four members of the administrative team at Boge Compressors were recently awarded with the Certificate in Compressed Air Technology.
Four members of the administrative team at Boge Compressors were recently awarded with the Certificate in Compressed Air Technology (CertCAT), for successfully completing the first of its kind e-learning course offered by the British Compressed Air Society Over the past six months four administrative staff at Boge have successfully completed the Compressed Air Technology course, a college certificate at Level 2 within the national qualifications framework

Compressed air in the pits at motor sports stadium

CertCAT has been developed over the past two years and is delivered via a virtual learning environment provided by The Virtual College whereby delegates study via the Internet which allows them to learn at their own pace and leisure.
The course requires up to 30 hours commitment from the candidate and covers topics and issues fundamental to the compressed air industry.
This course truly is applicable to anyone working within the industry who wishes to improve their basic knowledge of the principles of compressed air production and use.
Taylor continued: "The importance of such a rudimentary course as an employer cannot be underestimated".

The British Compressed Air Society is accepting candidate applications from 5th September 2005 onwards.
