Oil-free compressor design is easy to extend
Boge has developed a fundamentally new type of compressor - a modular oil-free system that is easy to extend and quick to service for the lower capacity range.
A Boge service technician recently visited the carpentry workshop and reported that the piston was in good working order with no defects.
Felix Mohn of Mohn Carpenters said: "Although this old piston compressor won't win any beauty awards, it is still highly appreciated for both its quality and dependability".
"After the technician changed the oil and renewed the air filter it has been working as usual and we are proud to show it to our visitors".
The piston compressor was originally developed in 1925 primarily to meet the compressed air needs of vehicle workshops and petrol stations where compressed air was used to inflate tyres and operate lifting ramps.
As Boge's experience and knowledge in compressors grew so did the product range, but piston compressors still remain an important part of the portfolio where the slow speed cast pumps provide compressed air up to 40bar. Request free introductory details about products from Boge Compressors ...
