Dryers provide energy saving benefits

A Boge Compressors product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team May 19, 2006

A new generation of environmentally friendly refrigerant dryers can provide energy saving benefits of up to 90% via suction pressure regulation.

Boge Compressors has launched a new generation of energy efficient and environmentally friendly refrigerant dryers.

The new Boge DX series of refrigerant dryers can provide energy saving benefits of up to 90% via suction pressure regulation on the DX 300 to DX 465 models and through frequency control of the DX 580 model upwards.

An intelligent load dependant system underpins these features.

The new DX series covers Boge's larger range of refrigerant dryers from 30 to 237m3/min flow capacity.

Boge DX dryers are built to operate in standard ambient conditions of 25C, though options ensure ambients of +50C with compressor discharge temperatures of +70C are possible.

A frost protection model is also available to temperatures of -10C.

The 3C dewpoint is assured by a freely adjustable control between normal, summer and winter months.

An easy to read, permanently lit display allows all the major parameters to be read not least pressure dewpoint and an informative energy consumption figure.

A potential-free contact allows easy external communication.

There is also a standard CANbus interface.

All Boge refrigerant dryers utilise the environmentally friendly R134a coolant.

By integrating the latest technologies Boge has reduced the quantity used by up to 70%.

The Boge DX series of refrigerant dryers adds further strength to Boge's on-going commitment to its energy and environmental focus.
