Safecontractor is operated by international safety, health and environmental risk management specialist, the National Britannia Group.
Businesses wishing to gain Safecontractor accreditation must undergo a rigorous vetting process that examines their health and safety procedures and track record for safe practice.
Only after meeting Britannia's high standards of health and safety can a company attain this status.
Accreditation lasts twelve months by which time the company has to be re-audited to confirm on-going compliance.
Geoff Taylor, Managing Director of Boge said: "Nowadays no organisation should run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove their compliance to stringent health and safety policies and practice".
"Now in our 5th year as an accredited company, the Britannia Safecontractor logo assures our customers that Boge not only complies to the highest standards of health and safety but that we also have sufficient up to date insurance cover".
The system is applicable to most sectors although it is particularly relevant to the food manufacture, property, facilities management, retail and leisure sectors, all of which are big users of contract services.
James Ostler, Managing Director of Information Services at National Britannia said: "More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that Boge has done".
"Boge's high standard has set an example, which hopefully will be followed by other companies within the sector". Request free introductory details about products from Boge Compressors ...
