Boge Compressors has added an interactive engineer's tool to its website.

Boge Compressors has added an interactive engineer's tool to its website.

Visitors can now access 11 different compressed air calculators online that determine equations such as energy cost, air leakage, pipe size and many more.

Visitors can simply enter their own compressed air system figures in the stipulated formula fields and the online calculators will then generate an answer.

This useful tool will save the factory manager time and effort in quantifying system leakage, calculating the compressed air system energy cost or determining the optimum pipe sise.

The compressed air formulas used for the online calculators have been derived from the extremely popular 6th edition "Boge compressed air compendium" handbook, which covers the fundamentals of compressed air from its origins to its latest technologies as well as more specific topics such as: air treatment, size of installation, disposal of condensate and the control of compressors.

The website also includes information, advice and guidance on many other topical industry subjects such as the new BRC/BCAS Food Industry Code of Practice and the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive 2002/96/EC.
