Boge has extended the K series oil-free piston compressor range with the addition of 15- and 40-bar options.

The K series provides the smaller air user with a compact, energy- and cost-effective oil-free compressor solution.

The cylinder is mounted horizontally and a centrally located crankshaft operates a push-rod principal, ensuring the piston remains parallel in the cylinder, reducing cylinder-ring wear experienced in conventional systems.

As an oil-free compressor, the K series reduces the downstream treatment required and all the associated costs.

It operates on a stop/start basis controlled by a standard BOGE electronic controller.

The K series does not use an oil-lubricated crosshead drive and so is suited to industries such as the food, drink, medical and pharmaceutical sectors.

The package, with acoustic canopy, can be receiver mounted and requires a minimal footprint.

The K series is available as a 10-, 15- or 40-bar compressor with effective free air deliveries ranging from 244 litres per minute to 648 litres per minute and a motor range of 2.2kW to 5.5kW.
