Boiswood, the specialist distributor of components for gas and liquid control, is now supplying the Setra Model CWS 321 Gas Cylinder Weighing Scale.

The CE compliant CWS 321 is ideal for gas cabinets and gas cylinder applications in the semiconductor and general process industry, where precise quantities of gases need to be measured.

It is accurate to within 0.10% of full scale, with exceptional long-term stability of 0.5% FS/l year, which optimises gas usage and reduces replacement costs and production downtime.

The scale platform is available with a load capacity of 60lbs (30kg) or 300lbs (135kg).

Its low profile (0.97") and small footprint (9.25" x 9.25") provides easy loading and off-loading of the cylinders with minimal lifting.

Due to its multiple strain gauge design, off-centre loading is 0.10% FS, assuring virtually no loss of accuracy.

An additional RFI shield is combined with the high-resistance strain gauge to ensure low susceptibility to output noise and RFI error.

Operating temperature of the scale is +140F to +1220F (-100C to +500C) with a storage temperature of +140F to +1400F (-100C to +600C).

The CWS 321 has a two-wire circuit with 4 to 20 mA output.

Zero and span potentiometers are conveniently located for easy adjustment.

A 10ft cable or an end of cable bayonet connector is offered for electrical termination.
