High purity flowmeter gives flow/pressure outputs

A Boiswood product story

NT International's Model 5400 electronic flowmeter is designed for use with the high purity solvent chemicals used in the semiconductor industry and to deliver simultaneous flow and pressure outputs

Boiswood, the specialist distributor of components for gas and liquid control, is now supplying NT International's Model 5400 electronic flowmeter, for use with the high purity solvent chemicals used in the semiconductor industry.

The NT 5400 is designed to deliver simultaneous flow and pressure outputs.

Flow is calculated from the differential pressure measured by two sensors, separated by an integral orifice machined into the solid stainless steel body.

The flow-through design, which has no moving parts to generate particles, also offers a minimum dead volume to reduce the possibility of process contamination.

It is constructed from 316L stainless steel with PFA wetted surfaces and is supplied with a durable Teflon jacketed pigtail cable connection that is resistant to harsh chemical environments and spills.

The unit provides isolated 4-20mA flow and pressure output signals that are easily integrated with PLCs, control systems and electronic displays.

It also offers 2.5% full-scale accuracy.

The CE compliant units are factory calibrated and require no field calibration.

They are unaffected by bubbles or vibrations and can be mounted in any orientation for easy integration into a process.

Tube connections are available for use with industry standard compression fittings in OD sizes range from 1/4" to 1".
