Boiswood, the specialist distributor of components for gas and liquid control, is now supplying the new Furon HPV (High Performance Valve) from St Gobain Performance Plastics, an injection-moulded PFA valve that adds critical new advantages to the reliability of Furon's range of Integrated Manifolds.

The valve, which adds to the fluid handling purity and safety of Furon's Integrated Manifolds, features a visual position indicator that shows at a glance whether the valve is open or closed.

The indicator, which also supports fibre optic position indication, is completely encased by a transparent housing, that allows easy viewing while creating an air-tight, leak-proof seal to protect it from atmospheric exposure.

The body of the HPV is constructed of high-purity, durable injection moulded PFA and was designed to provide an easy drop-in replacement for existing valves in Furon manifold systems.
