Vaporising pressure regulators now ex-stock

A Boiswood product story

Boiswood is offering ex-stock delivery on the new Kenmac KEV Series electrically heated vaporising pressure regulator, which offers the flexibility of multiple condulet mounting

Boiswood, the specialist distributor of components for gas and liquid control, is offering ex-stock delivery on the new Kenmac KEV Series electrically heated vaporising pressure regulator.

Boiswood managing director Tony Kent says that, besides the high specification, UK manufacture makes pricing and delivery of the new regulator extremely competitive.

Typical applications for the KEV include vaporising liquid hydrocarbons such as ethylene, LPG and butane; natural gas sampling, BTU sampling systems, H2S and Mercaptan analysis; and heating of gas samples to prevent condensable drop out.

The UK manufactured KEV range offers the flexibility of multiple condulet mounting and the reassurance of a one-piece, corrosion resistant regulator body for maximum sealing integrity.

An all-metal diaphragm with metal-to-metal sealing also ensures that the sample composition is not compromised.

The KEV's heater, which is removable for easy cleaning, has been designed to produce exceptional thermal efficiency and higher vapour flows than are currently available in regulators of equivalent wattage.

This ensures point source vaporisation of all components in a multi-component stream, which is critical for accurate analysis.

Responses are very fast due to the low-volume vapour chamber.

Other features of the KEV's high performance specification include five heater options from 40 to 200 Watt, 120 or 240 volt AC 50/60 Hz power supply, proportional temperature control, side or base sample inlet options and CENELEC and CSA certification.
