Boiswood is launching Bourdon Haenni's FTG, a true flow through gauge that features a fully swept volume with no dead areas and no areas of entrapment

Boiswood, the specialist distributor of components for gas and liquid control, is launching Bourdon Haenni's patented new 2" flow through gauge, the FTG.

Boiswood claims the FTG is the only gauge of its kind on the market.

It is a true flow through gauge that features a fully swept volume with no dead areas and no areas of entrapment.

It uses a diaphragm sensing element that is polished to 5 Ra or an optional 10 Ra.

The diaphragm cavity has a low internal volume, fully swept to 5 Ra to reduce particle generation and eliminate entrapment areas.

All wetted parts are manufactured in stainless steel 316 or 316L VAR for the body and Inconel for the diaphragm.

The FTG is aimed at high purity applications in the semiconductor, pharmaceutical and chemical markets and is especially suited to 'gas stick' installations and small gas delivery panels where space is limited.

The FTG is calibrated and assembled to Class 100, helium tested 1 x 109 std cc/sec and available with high purity connections.
