Regulator design gives best of both worlds

A Boiswood product story

The KHF is a single-stage multitasking pressure regulator that combines the high flow of a bulk gas distribution regulator with the high sensitivity and accuracy of a point-of-use regulator.

New from Boiswood, the KHF is a single-stage multitasking pressure regulator that combines the high flow capabilities of a bulk gas distribution regulator with the high sensitivity and high accuracy characteristics of a point-of-use regulator.

The KHF has a Cv flow coefficient of 1.0 and features a balanced poppet design that provides excellent pressure regulation accuracy of 0.2%.

The large diameter convoluted diaphragm maximises sensitivity and minimises droop, making the KHF an ideal line regulator and the primary pressure control device for gas distribution systems.

It is also designed for use as a secondary pressure regulator in a gas system and as the final pressure control element upstream of an analyser.

It is suitable for all gases including those requiring high purity regulation.

Typical applications include analyser sampling systems, bulk gas distribution, calibration and zero gas control for high accuracy laboratory analysers, gas distribution manifolds and high-flow purge systems.

The KHF specification also features metal to metal diaphragm sealing, low torque/fine pitch adjustment, an anti-rupture diaphragm design and full material tractability.

NACE certification is also available.
