Special profiles have been introduced by Paletti Profile System into their range of machine building profiles for use in environments where dust and hazardous materials can harbour in the profile grooves The profiles have been specially designed by Paletti to enable machine builders to manufacture frameworks where dust and hazardous materials cannot settle in the grooves of the profile

The profiles can be quickly brushed or washed down without cleaning substances lying in the grooves.

The profiles are totally enclosed on all 4 sides and come in lengths of 3 and 6 metres and sizes 40 x 40, 40 x 80, 80 x 80.

Standard groove configurations are situated below the surface of the profile and access is gained by puncturing through the outer cover using a screwdriver or suitable tool and tearing back the cover over the groove a short distance with pliers prior to inserting a Paletti standard twist in fastener.

The concept of using a local tear off strip provides machine builders with a cost effective solution to the immense problem of trying to seal the grooves when approached by companies from the food, pharmaceutical, clean room, hazardous materials and electronic industries.
