Harness assembly workstations provide a cost effective way to increase productivity and ergonomic efficiency in a labour intensive assembly process.

Boldman harness assembly workstations provide a cost effective way to increase productivity and ergonomic efficiency in a labour intensive assembly process.

Available in single or double sided versions with manual counter balance or with electric adjustment, the Boldman harness assembly workstation is available in a standard 1.2 x 2.4 or 1.2 x 3.6m size, or to customer specification.

For larger harnesses users can place two workstations side by side, attach the workstations via a simple locking mechanism or synchronise the electronic control system if provided, to move both workstations together.

Features include a counterbalance or electrical system with a handheld pendant to raise, lower or tilt the board to the most suitable working position.

A fully tiled work surface allows insertion of "pins" for the formation of the cable harness.

Simple retrofitting is possible for tool supports, document holders, daylight lighting or electrical sockets.

Inspection lamps for close-up working can be attached to a linear guidance rail for positional movement over the work surface.

The modular approach allows Boldman to use its aluminium profile system to design and manufacture both simple and complex structures to suit most customer and designer requirements.
