The FlexProgrammer 9701 includes software that makes it compatible with various communication protocols such as HART or Profibus PA.

With the FlexProgrammer 9701 Baumer offers a user-friendly configuration tool for configurable pressure and temperature transmitters with 4 to 20mA output signals.

Besides the possibility of direct configuration at any standard PC via USB-Port, the tool enables remote configuration, which allows flexible application and makes it perfect for mobile use in all environments.

The FlexProgrammer 9701 includes software that makes it compatible with various communication protocols such as HART or Profibus PA.

It can be connected to and powered from a PC's USB Port and act as a signal convertor.

Without a PC connection, the FlexProgrammer is operated by rechargeable batteries and - after the parameters initially have been programmed on a PC and stored on the FlexProgrammer - can be used as an independent programming device, reading and saving sensor parameters.

An integrated display shows configuration details, four push buttons allow scrolling the data and make the FlexProgrammer suitable for remote configuration in the most challenging environments.

The software is based on an field device tool (FDT) and allows every driver device to act as a device type manager (DTM).

Separate DTM drivers are available for download at the Baumer website, which makes the tool suitable for customers who have transmitters from different suppliers and want to use one FDT software programme for all of them.
