Labelling system for voice/data identification
Brady now offers five new lines of labels developed for its TLS2200 and TLS PC Link printers and specifically designed for voice/data identification
New labels for electrical installation marking
The ISST division (Identification Solutions and Speciality Tapes) at Brady is extending its existing ranges and offering six new high-performance label series designed for the electrical market.
Together with LabelMark labelling software, the TLS PC Link offers a solution that is both complete and economic.
The TLS PC Link may be used in the office, connected to a PC with LabelMark software, or used with the Windows driver for use with any Windows application when labels need to be printed in advance; or hand held and connected to portable equipment, when labels need to be printed on site, importing information directly provided by wire testers, scanners, electrical meters, etc.
Additionally, the Brady Programming Language provides a communication language where the end-user can create his own programs and send controls down to the printer for printing labels (even in non-Windows environments).

Label printer-applicator gets more intricate
Brady has a new arrival to its Label printer-applicator range - the PAM 2300 - equipped with a high precision print head and rotational applicator arm
Label specifically tailored for fibre optic cables
Brady has designed a label specifically tailored to overcome the frustrations of marking delicate fibre optic cables; they adapt easily to the thickness of optic fibres up to 3 mm
The TLS PC Link is equipped with smart cell technology that is capable of automatically detecting the label size and printer settings while the built-in cutter cuts labels both cleanly and quickly.
As an additional feature, the ribbon rolls are replaced with only a short interruption to the printing process.
Lightweight (1.14 Kg), the TLS PC Link offers thermal transfer printing with a quality of 203 dpi and accepts labels up to 50.8 mm wide (for 46 mm print) and 152.4 mm long.
It operates in temperatures from +4 to +49C, adapts to 6 different widths of more than 300 types of labels (die cut labels, sleeves, etc.) and can print 500 labels between battery charges.
The automatic labelling process: The latest version of LabelMark software offers functions that allow for automatic creation, editing and printing.
These features save time and increase productivity.
Its serialisation function is standardised for 110-type blocks, Bix blocks and patch panels, allowing the software to automatically create serial numbers for each pair of wires during backbone installation.
When creating a label, the "flip/flop" feature will transpose text from one or more labels, facilitating the labelling of both ends of a cable.
The ODBC (Open Data Base Connectivity) architecture allows for the automatic importation of database files from various database systems (e.g cable management software).
The TLS PC Link printer, with its LabelMark software, is ideal for electrical markets (panel builder, electrical installers and contractors, etc.), tele/data communications fields (datacom/network installers, network engineers and fibre optics patch cord manufacturers and assemblers), medical applications (laboratories, hospitals, etc.) and for industry in general (warehousing, quality assurance and product tracking).
