Jekyll Electronic Technology has been appointed as official distributor for the Primestone range of automatic meter reading software (AMRS).

Jekyll is responsible for the sales and support of this new software, which complements its existing range of telemetry solutions, including modems, for the utility industry.

Primestone was founded in 1990 and has provided utilities and commercial and industrial companies with an affordable and well- supported application to cost-effectively and efficiently collect data from utility meters.

PrimeRead has been installed throughout the world, mainly in Central and South America.

"We were very impressed with the product when we saw what it could do", says Brian Wainwright, Sales and Marketing Manager at Jekyll.

"Many of our existing modem customers are looking for efficient data collection that is easy to set up and use, yet has all the features of more costly and complicated systems".

"We feel that the Primestone products answer this requirement and we look forward to selling the product throughout Europe and beyond".

The addition of the Primestone AMRS software means that Jekyll now offers a fully integrated approach to data collection in the utility industry.
