Drives and Controls 2001 call for papers
The British Gear Association (BGA) has issued a call for papers for its Annual Congress at the Drives and Controls 2001 Exhibition and Conference at ExCel Exhibition Centre in London from March 13-15.

The Gear Research Group (GRG) at the University of Huddersfield has been involved in nine major research projects worth about £800,000 over the past 15 years.
The BGA's Annual Congress, recognised as one of the world's premier gearing forums, is sponsored by Mobil Oil, who present a ?250 prize for the best paper submitted.
Those wishing to have a paper considered for presentation by the selection committee should send a 150-400 word synopsis and two key diagrams to the organisers by September 15.
Authors selected will be notified by November 1 and completed papers must be with the organisers by January 5, 20001.
The BGA has also decided to hold its annual dinner at The International Hotel, Marsh Wall, London in conjunction with the Annual Congress.
Favourable accommodation rates have been obtained by the BGA for members wishing to stay at the hotel.
